Capital Aid is a student-led, not-for-profit organization based in Ottawa, Canada.

We help international and immigrant students adapt to the Canadian education system through free, high-quality tutoring. Founded by high school students, our mission is to bridge educational gaps and empower academic success.

Grade 12 student passionate about mathematics, leadership, and making a positive impact. I enjoy playing soccer, exploring aviation, and helping others succeed.

Co-Founder & Chief of Technology

Our Journey

From an idea to a growing movement - how Capital Aid came to be

June 2024

The Idea Was Born

Capital Aid began as an idea among passionate students who saw the need for better educational support for immigrant and international students.

July 2024

Executive Team Formed

Our founding team of 5 dedicated students came together, each bringing unique skills to build the organization.

August 2024

Curriculum Development

We planned a comprehensive curriculum tailored to help students adapt to the Canadian education system.

September 2024

Tutoring Program Launched

Began our first tutoring sessions at the start of the school year, helping students with core subjects and study skills.

October 2024

Digital Presence Established

Launched our website and Instagram to connect with more students and share our mission with the community.

January 2025

Tutoring Team Expands

Grew our tutoring team to 15+ dedicated volunteers, allowing us to help more students than ever before.

Present Day

Ongoing Expansion

Currently expanding our team to new cities and broadening our services to support students from diverse backgrounds across Canada.
